Army Of Naked Women Protest The Republican National Convention [PICTURES]

By: Liberty Laura

A project titled, “Everything She Says Means Everything” took place yesterday evening in anticipation of the Republican National Convention today.

In an interview with Elle Magazine, the participants said that they wanted to show off their bodies and combat the “hateful, inflammatory things” said by Donald Trump throughout his campaign.

The protest was coordinated by an artist and photographer, Spencer Tunik.

On his website, the project is introduced as such:

The photograph involved 100 nude women holding large mirror discs, reflecting the knowledge and wisdom of progressive women and the concept of “Mother Nature” into and onto the convention center, cityscape and horizon of Cleveland. The philosophy of the artwork relates to the idea of the sacred feminine. By holding mirrors, we hope to suggest that women are a reflection and embodiment of nature, the sun, the sky and the land. We want to express the belief that we will rely upon the strength, intuition and wisdom of progressive and enlightened women to find our place in nature and to regain the balance within it. The mirrors communicate that we are a reflection of ourselves, each other, and of, the world that surrounds us. The woman becomes the future and the future becomes the woman.

And here are the photos…

Somewhere, someone cares. Not here, but somewhere, I’m sure of it.

    • ghostofann

Apparently you care enough to make your stupid comment.

      • Evan Farley

I made the mistake of thinking it was going to have some well thought out cause or action. It was just another mass display of ignorance.

  • rebelmountainman

I thought there would be some hairy armpits in the bunch

    • Kathleen Fulwiler

      You were right… eeeewwwww!

  • Mike Woodfin

Organized by an artist for artistic purposes. Then he uses a social subject in order to get publicity for his work. This is a fake protest for the advancement of an artist. Plus he is able to gather 100 useful idiots to help.

    • Jarred

EXACTLY. I was going to say artists/entertainers getting onto the political/activism band wagon only do so for attention. All the people who are in STEM fields do not protest like this.

Though.. I’m more of a libertarian but I got to hand it to the GoP – whatever you’re doing to get a bunch of women to show up naked for you… COULD be doing things right

      • Joseph Ahner

I’m sure John Mcaffe could top that.

  • “…knowledge and WISDOM of progressive women.” Oh, that’s RICH!!! There’s not an ounce of wisdom in the progressive agenda.

Wow, feminism is so edgey. 100 ugly hags with bad tattoos naked…What a statement.

  • Beauford T. Justice

I remember being at Phish’s concert The Great Went in 97 and seeing all these naked people walking around and was like wtf!?!? Then I found out he was up there taking one of his nude pics of all the hippies. Lol. Good thing was, there were some good looking chicks in the group, tho.

No doubt smells like low tide!

    • ghostofann

      Misogyny…always classy.

      • Diogenes

Cheap STUPID symbolism, the hallmark of modern America!

      • Evan Farley

It appears these comments aren’t going as you had hoped for. Feel lonely? You should.

  • Adam Godsey

And a guy wants to bring attention to these issues? No, he wants to photograph 100 naked women in public. Can’t blame for that!

  • Shinobi DeeJay

Trump and trump supporters: “dear god, we have been wrong all along”

  • Smee

Hey! I’d go watch that protest anytime!!

  • keithmh113

    Anyone else smell dead fish?

  • Robert Spring

    Mmmmm…hairy armpits
