Philando Castile Took a Mandated Gun Safety Class. Can You Still Justify His Murder?

According to Bossip, Philando Castile, one of the victims of a senseless police shooting last week took a gun safety class at a place called Total Defense.

Dan Wellman, the owner of Total Defense, told the Associated Press that Castile was there with his sister.

Classes included instructions on how to comply with the police while carrying. Wellman says that, “‘I have a gun’ is not the way to say you have a gun on you.”

At some point, lobby groups that support the Second Amendment will have to address this case in a direct fashion.

Staying silent on the Castile case is not a good look for Second Amendment advocates. This Amendment applies to all free men (and women), and considering that slavery has been outlawed, all human beings now have a right to keep and bear arms.

I am looking forward to see how different gun rights groups respond to this new revelation. We will be able to separate the fake Constitutionalists from the real Constitutionalists.

The sad reality is that only those present truly know what happened, and one of them is dead. What we do know is Castile had a Conceal Carry License, which is a requirement that in and of itself violates the Constitution, and took a gun safety class.

“What we do know is Castile had a Conceal Carry License, which is a requirement that in and of itself violates the Constitution, and took a gun safety class.”

How do we know that? There was no license found on his body and the Ramsey County Sheriff’s office for which Mr. Castile was required to have the license with says that there was no such request. The only indication was that the girlfriend said so. The girlfriend that has shown a propensity to tell false statements.

YES, Mr Castile has a Conbtitutional Right to Keep and Bear Arms. The video taken by the girlfriend showed a gun on the lap of Mr. Castile. When confronted by Law Enforcement how is that being responsible. While I currently live in Tennessee, I have been through a Firearm Safety class in Minnesota. That class taught me to keep the gun holstered at all times. if confronted by Law Enforcement the Gun Owner is to do only what the LEO says and when he says it. The Video gives evidence that Mr. Castile did not adhere to the change of command when given.

Please explain to me how the Right to Keep and Bear Arms includes displaying those arms in such a way that a LEO can feel threatened.
