In a recent interview broadcast on The Hayden Collins Radio Program at the Gary Johnson rally in Georgia, Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson says he thinks the LP should accept matching federal funds if they qualify for them next election cycle.

Achieving five percent of the national popular vote this election would make the LP eligible to receive matching federal funds and earn a “minor party” status.

When asked if he thinks the party should accept the funds he says, “Yeah I think it’s a game changer.”

He continues by saying, “When you consider the Libertarian Party raises about 250,000 dollars a year, 10 million dollars is a game changer.”
