Senator Rand Paul appeared on Meet the Press to discuss his trip to Central America on a mission to help the blind and near-blind see. Paul was able to help several dozen of the poor with their cataracts and other eye-related problems, while sending a message to the American people about the importance of private charity.
Paul speaks with Meet the Press about his mission, as well as critical domestic issues such as the shooting of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. Paul pushes for the demilitarization of police, as well as issues his criticism of the acquisition of military hardware for domestic purposes.
